Accredited British Wheel of Yoga teacher
What does this mean for you?
One of the key features of my treatments is to advise you on posture and exercise that you can do to help recover from and prevent further problems. The source of this advice comes partly from my British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) training (which takes 3 years) and my teaching experience (over 12 years). But it also partly from my training and teaching as an aerobics instructor, as a weight training coach and as a personal trainer and a Chiball teacher.
It also means that you are in safe and competent hands because, whilst maintaining my accreditation as a yoga teacher is less onerous that staying accredited as an acupuncturist it still means I have to do 15 hours of continuing professional development per year. It also means that if any accidents happen, I am insured.
I am now teaching Meditation and Mindfullness rather than posture (asana) based yoga classes. If you want to know more about these have a look at the Wisdom Mind website
